A recapitulation event

The Revolutions of our lives

A 3 days / 4 nights workshop at Cayla

For ancient cultures, time was not a straight line moving from past to future.
Time was alive, moving in cycles — in spirals — in great revolutions.

In astronomical language, a revolution is the completion of a cycle.
When a planet has fully revolved around its star, one revolution has been accomplished.
It returns to its point of origin — yet not to the same moment.
The whole system has shifted.

Our lives unfold in the same way. We move through seasons of continuity — periods where a certain identity, relationship, or structure of meaning remains stable. And then something begins to turn. An old pattern becomes too small. A truth can no longer be postponed. A loss, a love, a crisis, or a calling rearranges our life.

The word revolution also means a profound change — when an old paradigm is no longer sustainable and something new begins to emerge.

Over the course of a lifetime, we live many revolutions:
The revolution of being born in this planet
The revolution of puberty
The revolution of first love
The revolution of leaving home
The revolution of loss
The revolution of awakening

Often, we move through these cycles without fully completing them.
Something ends, yet remains open inside us.
Energy stays entangled in unfinished chapters.

What we have not integrated continues to move within us.
What we have not consciously closed continues to consume energy.
And what wants to be born is already whispering in the present moment.

Together, with the help of series of movements inspired by the Toltec tradition, we will:

  • Trace the major revolutions that shaped your life
  • Gently revisit cycles that ended but were never fully closed
  • Integrate the wisdom each turning brought
  • Release what no longer belongs to your present orbit
  • Clarify the revolution you are currently living

Together, we will not only look back —
we will stand consciously in the present,
so that the next turn of our spiral can unfold with awareness and intention.
